Living and travelling around Papua make me know that each tribe and region have it’s own culture and language. If you want to explore deep area in centre Papua, like Jayawijaya (Wamena), Tolikara, Puncak Jaya, and Pegunungan Bintang, you should using airplane to reach them.

The isolation of area make each tribe and person in each region have it’s own
language. For the example, Puncak jaya people change letter ‘t’ (Tango) with ’s’ (Sierra) and vice versa. So, if you want to tell ‘tidur’ (sleep), you should say ’sidur’ or easilly you can say ’sindur’. Term ’saya’ (me) is said ‘taya’.

Taya tudah ngancuk, mau sindur dulu…
